Despite how wack Scotty Lago got treated and the fact that its not very wintery in Vancouver, the winter Olympics are still pretty cracking. These New Era’s in assorted colors we spotted are dope but largely sitting on the shelf due to the overwhelming preference for cowboy hats.
One of the most interesting pieces from SIA today was this totally batshit crazy Killer Pizza New Era from Zimtstern. As everyone knows, pizza is an integral part of shred culture, which is why it’s impossible to front on this hat no matter how craze it is. The illest part – the inside has faux grease and sauce stains all over it. Next level.
Grenade announced today that all of their non-knit headwear will be made by New Era. Although making fitteds with New Era isn’t really groundbreaking news, it is interesting that New Era chose to put Danny Kass on the cover of their superfan lifestyle magazine Fitted. But what happens when truckers make the full shred comeback? Because they always do.
Agenda has just dropped some looks at their latest collaborative cap with New Era. For the upcoming show in Huntington Beach, they tapped Loss Prevention for the graphics. Some more looks after the jump.
Unlimited in Japan has the drop on this illafied Thrasher x New Era collabo pack. The “Flame” and “Skate and Destroy” 59Fifty’s and knit cap are already selling out fast. Here’s a great translator to help you get that order in! Complete looks after the jump.
Fox has a new New Era 59Fifty dropping as part of their summer line. The “Type-O-Negative” features a pretty wildstyle all over print as well as 3D embroidery and a satin lining. This one might be a bit loud but you won’t be swallowed up by the sea of monotone hat wearing heads in it, that’s for sure. Available now at Fox retailers. Via NewEraCapTalk.
Nigel Sylvester has been pushing the profile of BMX riding for a minute. Between Nike 6.0, Gatorade, MirraCo and his QB shop Format, the kid’s got his hands full. Not full enough apparently. Nigel recently appeared in a episode of Strictly Fitteds TV with a never seen before 59Fifty. The crocodile eating a BMX bike motif is meant to convey ““Beasting out on each session,” and the purple is just dope. No info yet as to a release date for this one. Via Strictly Fitteds.
http://www.vimeo.com/4611212 Lotek, New Era and Seventies have joined forces on a nice new edit from UK ripper Dan Lacey. D Lace definitely brings the heat to the British Isles, it’s crazy how the scenery is always so proper over there. Rad.
Burton’s New Era game has been pretty tight lately and this summer is no exception. Here we show you the Back to the Future collection which features four styles all meant to invoke the legendary film trilogy. You’ve got the 88mph, the Great Scott, the Doc Brown, and the Biff. Now if they only really made hover boards. Available now at Burton Flagships, online and at select retailers. Full looks at the Back to the Future collection after the jump.
Grenade recently launched an all out streetwear line as well as a footwear collection to give more depth to one of snowboarding’s most explosive brands. Obviously, if you’re doing streetwear, you need New Era’s, here are a few more from Grenade’s Fall ‘09 line. A couple more after the jump.
