Last night at the Hotel on Rivington Penthouse in NYC was the launch party for the unveiling of the G-Shock x Nigel Sylvester GD100NS-7 signature timepiece. With beats from DJ Clark Kent and an open bar sponsored by Hennessy and Modelo, the event was popawheeliefresh. Nigel was all smiles as he celebrated his new timepiece with a full house & homies that included Radcollector’s Tim Brodhagen, Tadashi Shibuya, Hawaii Mike, Mel D Cole, and many more. Blow Hip Hop TV was on hand at Niketown NYC last night for the Nigel Sylvester Just Do It campaign launch. Radcollector’s Tim Brodhagen hosted a Q&A with Nigel before Donnis ripped a short set for fans and some of NYC’s BMX elite including Edwin Delarosa and Ralphy Ramos.

As you know by now, Nike has finally awarded the illustrious “Just Do It” tag to their action sports division. In conjunction with The Chosen campaign, Nike athletes like P-Rod, Danny Kass, and Julian Wilson are getting the treatment once reserved for legends of more traditional sports. Of course the reigning king of BMX, Nigel Sylvester is among The Chosen, and to celebrate the “Just Do It” action sports kickoff, Nike is hosting an event today with Nigel at Niketown in NYC. Fans will have the chance to see the new campaign, kick it with Nigel, and maybe even win a Contour HD camera to use in this summer’s The Chosen video contest. For his next video series with Gatorade, the “All Day Sessions,” Nigel Sylvester brought Ralphy Ramos with him to hit Miami and New Orleans. Seriously, nobody drops as many videos as this kid! The series begins on June 1, stay tuned.
