We’re not exactly sure where these are going to fall in the line but Nike Japan just released some looks at a new “action sports” chukka called the Hybred Boot. A bit reminiscent of the Nike 6.0 Brazen from a few years back, the Hybred has a bit of extra refinement plus Lunarlon that should result in a very wearable shoe. Check out the brown after the jump. Nike has taken over Silvretta Montafon in Austria for their last and greatest Chosen event of the season. From April 1-7, 12 ams will shred their hearts out in what Nike is calling the “most progressive park ever built” which judging from the video above, may not be such a far fetched claim. Nike brings you episode 3 of its Vapen Sessions. Watch as the crew hits a 90 foot jump in the middle of the night and then switch to a daytime wallride session.

Nike brought its young gun squadron out to Norway at the end of last season for a banger backcountry session on the new Nike Vapen. Looks to us like the boot boosts just fine.

As you know by now, Nike has finally awarded the illustrious “Just Do It” tag to their action sports division. In conjunction with The Chosen campaign, Nike athletes like P-Rod, Danny Kass, and Julian Wilson are getting the treatment once reserved for legends of more traditional sports. Of course the reigning king of BMX, Nigel Sylvester is among The Chosen, and to celebrate the “Just Do It” action sports kickoff, Nike is hosting an event today with Nigel at Niketown in NYC. Fans will have the chance to see the new campaign, kick it with Nigel, and maybe even win a Contour HD camera to use in this summer’s The Chosen video contest. This past weekend, Nike and the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham launched The Pool – an innovative state-of-the-art BMX park in a refurbished a public swimming pool that is due to be demolished. Simon Charlesworth (Brand Lead Nike Action Sports) outlines the goals for the project: “We wanted to develop something that excites BMX fans in and around the area, creates a surge of interest in the sport and serves the people of Barking and Dagenham. The Pool perfectly encapsulates the youthful energy, creativity and self- expression that characterizes not only the world of BMX but also the wider action sports community.”

Continuing their push to make creative surf content, Nike will release “Chosen” on June 2, an epic night session edit featuring Julian Wilson, Alejo Muniz, Monyca Byrne-Wickey, Michel Bourez, Kolohe Andino and Malia Manuel. Hit their Facebook for more.
