Luckily we were spared a lot of the worst shit that people all over New York City are still dealing with, the latest being reports of residential looting, but it was still one of the craziest experiences of our lives. If you’ve been living in NYC for the past several years, you witnessed the revival of illegal street art, a necessary component in battling the over homogenization of this great city. Opening this Thursday September 27, several of the city’s most prolific artists will combine for a group show at the new Poppington Gallery including Phil, Beau, Womp, Sabio, Katsu, Pixote, and Jim Joe.
