You may have noticed that we’ve been offline since Thursday. Rad Collector HQ got smacked this weekend and although we are all snow lovers, the fact that the storm knocked out internet and cable for three days did not a happy office make. Rad Collector linked up with Nike 6.0 and the Brooklyn-based label Caranguejo do Norte to create these 1 of 1 “Beleza” 6.0 Mavrk Mid 2’s. Taking inspiration from the beauty found both in the endless concrete of Brooklyn and the persistent sunshine of Rio de Janeiro, Caranguejo do Norte flipped 6.0’s newest skate silhouette to represent Beleza or “Beauty” in Portuguese. The Mavrk Mid 2 is now available as part of the Nike iD program. To kick off it’s launch, Rad Collector and Nike 6.0 will give the first three people to holler at us on Twitter the chance to customize their own pair. Rad Collector is proud to announce the first annual Hips and Lips contest presented by Atmosphere Super Fashion Company. Yep, we’ve joined forces with Atmosphere, Nitro, Nikita, Coal, Red Bull, Manik, and many more to put together this jam format hip event that will kick off the summer shred season at Timberline.
