Sometimes the gear gods are not kind. Check out the original leather from the DC Dyrdek Collection. Super buttery, ill cut, printed lining and with the sickest rainbow skittle zips, this baby was originally set to retail for more that $600. That’s Dyrdek’s clout for you. They even made four custom colored ones for his Street Dreams premieres. Unfortunately, realistic sales forecasting prevailed and the jacket was re-formulated for it’s actual release. The cut is still good, but the leather has been downgraded and gone are those precious precious zips. Bummer. More looks at the last one on earth after the jump.
Each year thousands of New Yorkers push themselves to the mind altering distance of 26.2 miles in the New York Marathon. Most do it to brag to their friends, some do it because they like torture, and a few do it for a good cause. Actions sports icon Sal Masekela has decided to jump headfirst into the latter category and is doing a last minute bid at the distance for the sake of his mentoring organization, Stoked. His strategy? Out Diddy Diddy. To learn more or donate go to RunSalRun.

Someone must really love this Gymkhana thing, cause it keeps going longer than the energy bunny. Next up is version 2.1. This one is pretty funny though, with Rob Dyrdek getting in on the action in his exact replica mini-Gymkhana whip and further proving that he gets paid purely to have fun. You can’t hate on that though. If you still need more, hit up DC for some behind the scenes love.
As promised, here are looks at Rob Dyrdek’s new DC collection RD-0915AW, hitting stores on October 1st. You’ll notice a water motif runs through the entire line with blue colors and pool ripple patterns appearing throughout. The new RD1 Mid kicks are especially dope with a definite nod to DC Life. Take a look at the whole collection after the jump.
It’s hard to believe that it took 14 years to happen, although he probably planned it that way, but Rob Dyrdek is launching his first full apparel, accessory and footwear line with DC this fall. The RD0915AW collection, which is flipped from the branding on Dyrdek’s first DC shoe, includes custom fit skate denim, a lightweight zip fleece, T-shirts, hats, wallets, a leather jacket, and Rob’s 15th footwear model, the RD1 Mid. The collection is tied together with the theme “Fantasies Run Deep” and will hit stores on October 1, 2009. Check out Dyrdek rocking some of the stuff after the jump. We will have product shots soon.

The new season drops just in time to lead up to the October release of Dyrdek’s new DC apparel and accessory line and his 15th DC pro model, the RD1 Mid. More on that soon.

Check out some pics after the jump. To get the book go here.
