Rome 540x357 Rome Addictive Collection | Last Supper
Vermont’s Rome SDS has a full lineup of bangers for 2011 but for sure the most eye catching is the “Last Supper” Agent Rocker board from their Addictive Collection. Featuring all the notable celebs that kicked the bucket last year from Billy Mays to Patrick Swayze and DJ AM and with Michael Jackson as the centerpiece, this board proves nothing is sacred in snowboarding. A couple close-ups as a well as a look at the base after the jump.

Rad Collector - Bjorn Leines Interview
ESPN just caught up with OG super shredder Bjorn Leines for an interview. Bjorn has a very seasoned philosophy about both the business and lifestyle aspects of snowboarding and doesn’t hesitate to break it down with authority. Check him out as he talks about Rome, Celtek and still hucking himself silly at age 32. The full interview is here.

Rome SDS | Postermania

Rad Collector - Rome SDS Postermania
Last season Rome released the Postermania as a limited edition, late-release board. For 2009/10 it makes its debut in their regular line. One of Rome’s buttery reverse-camber boards, Postermania has a soft park-perfect ride, in addition to its ill graphics. For the update, Rome’s softgoods designer, Shawn Dumont, decided to create a different poster for each length with each poster representing a different genre of poster design (movies, bands, etc.) To tie it all together, at least one letter from each poster appears on the base to form “ROME SDS” when the boards are lined up. More looks after the jump.

Rome SDS Draggers Only Jacket

RTEmagicC rome sds 1.jpg Rome SDS Draggers Only Jacket
Here’s the Draggers Only jacket from the Rome SDS Manifest collection (the streetwear inspired part of their two upcoming outerwear lines, the other is the more traditional 100 collection).  Rome is dropping their first outerwear line next winter and the Manifest collection breaks down the barrier between streetwear and snow style.

With the Draggers Only jacket, you have jacket that does it all.

The Draggers Only jacket looks street, but features everything you need to take it to the hill (taped seams, Rome’s DryTac waterproof breathable membrane shell, DWR coating, etc..). As you can see from the pics, it has a removable, liner (with snap & loop attachments at neck and cuffs to keep it in place)  that also doubles as a ride- capable hoodie on its own, due to the DryTac membrane in the hood and shoulders.  Besides the olive model pictured, it’ll also come in black and blue croc.  MSRP is $225.

One jacket and three ways to wear it from the company that believes there’s no one way to ride a snowboard.

Watch for the Manifest and 100 collections from Rome SDS to drop in shops later this year.
Check out more pictures after the jump.
