As part of their artist series, Hong Kong based brand Fingercroxx got together with artist Ed Templeton and Emerica. Together they created 2 sneakers, 2 t-shirts as well matching mesh caps. The graphics on the pieces fuse the Fingercroxx logo with Ed Templeton’s signature style. Images via Milk Magazine.

We present you an interesting remix of the Adidas Superskate for the Consortium collection. At first looking very basic, the sneaker has a white upper and layered multicolor side panels which look at first just like regular stripes. Nice details also include the leather tongue tag and premium leathers in general used on the shoe.

Once again Adidas Skate drops a model designed by none other than Mark Gonzales. This time he worked on the Gazelle and gave this classic a complete make-over. The outcome is a well balanced beige/brown sneaker with subtle artistic touches. The signature of the artist appears on the side of the sneaker as well as on the tongue tag.

For April 2008 Nike SB presents a new Zoom Air Harbor. This model is popular among core skaters due to its simple looks, but at the same time outstanding grip and feel for the board.
Next month it will be released in a subtle black/black colorway with a safari inner lining. Have a detailed look after the jump.

We already presented to you the Adidas Skateboarding sneakers that have been released so far. Here now a preview of what else there is to come until the summer.
It is nice seeing Adidas keeping the line so clean. With Nike SB we already have somebody in the market in charge of the more crazy releases, Adidas is a good balance to that. Both sneakers and clothing concentrate on the essential and stay overall classic in their looks.

Now that the Nike Air Trainer 2 SB has officially become a part of the collection, Nike seems to push the model a little bit. Right after the first grey/black colorway, they now also released a metallic gold/brown colorway of the sneaker. Most of the sneaker comes in metallic gold, the toebox and outer sole in brown. Even though quite a flashy sneaker, the colors work well together. These are now available at LTD.

One of the most interesting new Nike SB releases in the near future is the “Skate Or Die” Dunk SB. It is inspired by teh 80’s video game in terms of colors and patterns. Essence announced the sneaker now to be released in February.

We present you the first releases of the Adidas Skateboarding Spring 2008 range. There are some interesting models in this first drop.
First up is the Campus Vulcanized “Habitat Edition”. A new model for Spring 08 – the Campus Vulcanized designed by Joe Castrucci Artist for Alien Workshop/Habitat. The Inspiration from nature and his design language that has made Habitat Skateboards one of the premier skate companies in the industry.
The Roster Mid comes in the “Tim O’Connor Edition”. A new model for the season the Roster with inspiration from the adidas archives with a new twist to suit the needs of the skateboarders of toady. Tim O’Conner graphic that he designed himself. Tim is a writer and pretty creative dude. This is actually a collage of dictionary pages which he laminated to his coffee table. He also wanted to incorporate The Rorschach test images as a design element.
Last in this first drop is Superstar Vulcanized “Andrew Pommier Edition”. Design by canadian artist Andrew Pommier who also work for brands like Toy Machine skateboards, Element Skateboards, Girl skateboards, Fourstarclothing and RVCA Clothing.

Lakai recently uploaded their Spring 2008 catalogue and we present you here the limited editions out of the new collection. They took an interesting approach this season and made a limited edition shoe with Carroll, Howard, Koston, MJ, Mariano and Biebel. Each rider got to design one sneaker and along with it an entire pack of apparel, depending on the rider consisting of a t-shirt or hoodie, fitted cap, and other accessories.

Here some more previews of the Adidas Consortium January 2008 releases. They have some nice classics in fresh colorways waiting for you. Here we present you the Forum ADV and the Superskate Mid.

The Forum ADV comes in all turquoise and a mixture of materials. Both synthetic materials and different kind of leather have been used on the upper. The all white sole is a nice contrast to the turquoise and in general this is a great Spring colorway.

The Superskate Mid comes in a blue/red colorway. The entire upper comes in premium suede and the fading effects with the colors are definitely interesting and something one does not comes across a lot. Pics via Limiteditions.
