Stance went all Cirque du Soleil for their lastest video lookbook, “The Contortionist,” which isn’t a terrible concept but it probably would have been more interesting if all they had on was socks. Obviously we mean this in an artistic, not sexual, way, get your mind out the gutters yo.
Seems hard to believe that only a couple years ago, none of us had ever heard of Stance and now here they are running the sock game. In fact, seems harder to believe that no-one was thinking about there even being a sock game to run. That’s a real American success story right there!
Stance has just dropped their latest rad sock creations with the release of the Artist Series. Don Pendleton and Steven Harrington are first up to bring their art to your feet. Hit the jump for a closer look and stay tuned for more in this series.
Last weekend the 30th anniversary of the Burton U.S Open popped off once again under the always variable spring conditions at Stratton Mountain. The Radcollector crew ventured to Vermont for a couple days of riding, partying and catching up with old homies. During our trip we got the chance to take a couple of runs with Jake Burton and blessed Louie Vito, Laura Austin, A-Dog and a bunch of fans with the Stance x Radcollector snow socks. To top things off Method Man & Redman closed out the Open with a smoked out concert. Hit the jump to peep a gallery of photos from our editor Brad Clarke with some additional flicks by Michael Cohen.
Get your sock drawers open because we’re about to giveaway a ton of our Radcollector x Stance snow socks. We’re going to roll this out in two parts – first up, if you’re headed to the US Open in Stratton this weekend, try to spot Radcollector editor Brad Clarke. If you see him and tell him you’re a fan of the site, he’ll bless you with a pair personally. For those of you not able to get to VT, come back next week for round two. Hit us on Facebook for more.
Our other favorite thing at Agenda NYC this week was this rad collabo from Lakai and Stance. Not a whole lot of explanation needed here – now you can lock up your shoes and socks bong bong.
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, you can never have too many socks. The good people at Stance wanted to make sure we had enough for the hot New York summer. Check out the website to make sure you have your sock game in order because it’s a bad look when you have crusty, hole riddled socks. Trust us, no girls like that.
Stance Socks has just dropped this teaser for their all new signature sock with Lizard King. As Lizard says, “to keep the passion flowin, it must be glowin,” so of course the socks glow in the dark. Between them and a Lizard King Flip T, looks like Halloween is all figured out for this year.
