The Supra Skytop 2 tour hit Paris over the weekend, doubling down with the Tony Hawk Show to make Paris the world epicenter of skate for one night only. Not many bands can even get people to come check them on tour, but Supra can put a shoe on the road and pull in crowds. Starting at Collette in Paris on November 21 and rolling through ten of the dopest shops in France and the US over the next two weeks, the Supra crew will be hand delivering 36 individually numbered pairs of Skytop 2s to each store and leaving total chaos in their wake. The Shake Junt/Baker/Supra KR3W are doing the dirty dirty right now and just passed through New Orleans. Skateboarding’s grimiest crew in America’s grimiest city just goes too right together. In interesting collabo news, Supra has linked up with celeb DJ Samantha Ronson to hook up an exclusive distressed black leather and gold color way of the Indy for fall 2009. Not surprisingly, it’s a unisex model. To celebrate the launch of her Indy, Samantha will be DJ’ing at Angel and Kings in Chicago this Saturday night with a special performance by the GZA. Somehow Supra even got the city of Chicago to let them keep the bar open until 5am. Seems like there isn’t anyone who doesn’t love this brand. You can cop the SamRon Indy right now at Factory 413. Finalizing their assemblage of what is arguably the illest team in the game, Supra has just signed Lizard King. Now they’ve got Ellington, Greco, TK, Muska, Antwuan, Tom Penny, and Furby plus Lizard King – Game Over! Get ready for the Lizard King pro model, The Bullet, coming Spring 2010.
