Last Friday night was the opening of The Hunt, a new shop in NYC that specializes in one of a kind vintage Americana items and oddities at 72 Orchard Street in the LES. Shop partners Jake Lamagno, Dylan Rieder, and Steven Ditchkus hosted the opening which was filled with tons of unique pieces and photography from Craig Wetherby and Jimmy Fontaine. Multi-talented skateboarder, snowboarder, and artist Jake Lamagno is opening a new shop in NYC called The Hunt. A project with Steven Ditchkus, The Hunt will specialize in one of a kind vintage Americana items and oddities, meaning real human skulls, full taxidermied bears, as well as artwork, furniture, and anything else that passes Lamagno and Ditchkus’ curative smell test. Pro skaterboarder Dylan Reider has also joined on as a partner and all three will be at the NYC opening tonight at 72 Orchard Street in the LES which also features a joint exhibit by photographers Craig Wetherby and Jimmy Fontaine.
