Western Edition and Diamond have linked up for a dope west coast deck and tee pack. Anyone familiar with either brand should immediately recognize why the graphic is a perfect representation of both. The deck will be available at WE retailers worldwide and the tee will hit Diamond and FTC flagship stores in the next week or so and will definitely be ringing off all over Cali.
The latest episode of In the Cutts finds Apollo chopping it up with his home team homies at FTC San Francisco. Kent Uyehara from Western Edition and Jack Curtain also make cameo appearances. Stay tuned for their big Cardiel episode coming next.
San Francisco’s Western Edition has been celebrating their 10th year in existence all year with special releases and events. With 2009 wrapping up, they’ve just dropped this clip celebrating their achievements. Look for 2010 to be a banner year for the brand with a DVD box set and all new board and apparel collections dropping in the Spring.
San Francisco’s Western Edition has just dropped some new items for Fall/Holiday 09. The “Birdseye” tee and hoodie feature an aerial perspective line drawing of San Francisco while the “McCoy” tee and crew use old school jazz-era typography inspired by the pianist McCoy Tyner. To celebrate their 10th anniversary Western Edition Skateboards is releasing the Miles ‘59 Quintet Series as part of their Spring/Summer 09 collection. The Miles ‘59 series is an homage to the original band that created the epic recording “Kind of Blue” 50 years ago this year.
The series includes two tee shirts featuring the Miles Davis graphic and a quintet of postcards to be included with each board. You can cop them now at finer skate shops and skate boutiques worldwide. A look at the tees after the jump.
